OPERATION NOOK Update

I spent the day downloading eBooks for OPERATION NOOK. After buying the Nook Simple Touch and protection plan, we still had $125 left for books. So I bought:

* I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell - Tucker Max
* Stormy Weather - Carl Hiaasen
* Feed - Mira Grant
* The Zero Game - Brad Meltzer
* American Gods - Neil Gaiman
* The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
* Gates of Fire - Steven Pressfield
* Matterhorn - Karl Marlantes
* Trust No One - Greg Hurwitz
* Socceromics - Simon Kuper
* Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs
* ZOMPOC: How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse - Michael G. Thomas
* The Spectacular Now - Tim Tharp
* How the States Got Their Shapes - Mark Stein
* Revolver - Marcus Sedgwick
* A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court - Mark Twain

Since I don't know exactly what Backhaus likes, I downloaded a variety of things and I'm pretty happy with the selections. The Nook came with Dracula, Little Women, and Pride & Prejudice pre-loaded, and I'm going to weed through the free books to see if I can find a few more titles before I send it (which will be as soon as possible).

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who donated!
